July 1999 NEW LOAD CELL CONCEPT FOR ROTARY FILLING MACHINE  Tedea-Huntleigh Europe are relaunching their 1410 and
1430 rotary weighing load cell which is available in capacities of 10, 20 and 30 Kg.This unique product, which is believed to be the first load cell specially designed for rotary filling and bottling machines, finds application in a wide range of equipment for the chemical, paint, food, drink and allied industries. Model 1430 is housed in a stainless steel housing and can withstand direct and continual pressure cleaning and can therefore be fitted above. |
| The patented design principles of the 1400 overcome many of the problems encountered with the use of conventional load cells in rotary weighing machines. Filling cycle times are significantly reduced and accuracy is greatly improved. |
| Due to their robust construction, the 1410 and 1430 are very resistant to side loads and can withstand the devastting forces generated by bottle jams and other process mishaps. August 2, 1999 TEDEA-HUNTLEIGH ANNOUNCES HIGH CAPACITY DOUBLE-ENDED SHEAR BEAM LOAD CELL  Canoga Park, CA -- Tedea-Huntleigh, Inc. (THI) the world's leading
manufacturer of precision load cells announces the introduction of their Model 4158
center-link loaded, double ended shear beam load cell. Constructed from
nickel-plated alloy steel, these double-ended shear beam load cell are environmentally
sealed against moisture and have a low profile. The unit features BSEEFA and Factory
Mutual (FM) approvals. The load cell will sustain harsh environments while
maintaining operating integrity. |
| THI's Model 4158 load cells are produced from nickel-plated alloy steel in capacities of 10,000 - 75,000 Lbs. They are ideal for use in truck and railroad track scales, tank, bin, and silo weighing and high capacity process weighing applications. They are available with a Silo Mount for use on tanks or silos, offering 100% side load protection and 150% overload capability in the vertical loading direction, as well as simple installation. The Model 4158 double-ended shear beam load cell is a high accuracy load cell meeting NTEP 10,000 division standards. The Model 4158 is IP67 rated and is suitable for harsh environments. |

| THI's Model 1510 load cells are roduced from 15-5 PH stainless steel in capacities of 100, 250 and 500 kg. (220-1100 LBS.) They are ideal for use in bench scales, counting and process weighing applications. The Model 1510 single point load cell with its welded, hermetically sealed construction can endure industrial installations, which undergo regular washdown or operate within high humidity and harsh or corrosive environments. The load cells come with top and bottom mounting brackets for ease of installation in tank
